My First Design with Indiesmiles!
If you are ever going to advertise on the internet, you’ll always need an advertisement image. But what size should the image be and where shoul you get it designed?
Sizing
Ultimately, the size depends on where you are going to advertise. Each website has their own size requirements. However, I suggest that you have your image created with the standard size guidelines created by the Interactive Advertising Bureau (iab). Among other sizes, the iab suggests a 125 x 125 square button. This is what I use on Elephant Dance in my Project Wonderful ad spaces as well as on IndieSmiles in our Big Smiles and Sponsors Ad Space.
Who will design?
Where do you get you advertisement designed? Well that just depends on the style you desire and what you are willing to pay. I offer some basic design services at IndieSmiles.com.
Sue and I opened up Indiesmiles at the beginning of November last year. Ever since, we’ve been modifying our services to fit the needs of our customers. The exciting thing, this month (for me) was the creation of my very first commissioned design at Indiesmiles.
There we offer three design services: the Simple Design Package, the Ad Design Package by Bitsy Creations, and the Full Design Package by Bitsy Creations.
I do the Simple Design Package. Its normally $10 for the service but if you purchase our Smiles Coupon Campaign, Big Smiles Ad Space, Sponsor Ad Space, or our Showboat feature, you save $3!
Today, I finished this design for Twirled Treasures. She says, “That looks PERFECT!! Very classy and eye-catching. If I don’t get business from that . . . Thanks again for all your hard work in my behalf, El!”

If you are looking for someone to create the entire image from scratch (Twirled Treasures provided me a picture of her work), then I suggest Bitsy Creations in either of our Ad Design Package by Bitsy Creations, and the Full Design Package by Bitsy Creations. She created our Winter Wonderland theme and our Smiles for the Animals logo. She is definitely a pleasure to work with and very patient.

You are so modest, your graphic designs are fantastic!
